Introduction
The locations being procedured for this activity is Odiham luxuriously roadway in Hampshire and urban center street in Cardiff. I will be looking at the differences from when both streets first opened to their arrange day uses. Plus the differences of who uses the road in any 24 hour period.

Odiham High Street was origin solelyy a food marketplace town and is roughly 9 centuries old, where by city passage is just 200 years old and started out as a country lane. In its early days Odiham High Street was used as a conduit, as City Road is today (Dr Simon Bromley, Material lives, 2009). In 1982 a by-pass was built, so the fewer cars that now arrive on Odiham High Street are turning off or stopping to use the businesses, which they do not tend to do on City Road, the majority of traffic still passes through. Due to the by-pass the two roadstead are very different with their levels of traffic and pedestrians; City Road is plagued with heavy traffic and some pedestrians, where Odiham High Street has flow traffic and fewer pedestrians. Both roads seem to have ample parking and the bays are occupied more very much than not.

City Road which is 1 mile long also has a wide variety of businesses, but no residential properties. On Odiham High Street, with the exception of only one, all of the businesses have been housed in previously built residential properties, many dating back to the 12th century. City Road has in general been used for commerce; with the properties being constantly redeveloped to suit modern purposes, as with the Tertiary College and Mackintosh Centre.
