The first askion we must ask ourselves on our quest to be more tolerant is whether or not its the truth. And the truth is our society as a whole is not tolerant. Due to this rejection of other people we frequently find ourselves in conflicts.

People such as the African Americans have had to combat for their rights to live in our society peacefully. We can see through their examples that by being tolerant we can better our lives and the lives of those around us.
